Four GLG partners have been recognized in the 24th edition of the Virginia Business Legal Elite.
For their remarkable work in Family Law and Domestic Relations, Partners Alice Ahearn and Maria Simon have been recognized as Legal Elite 2023. Partners Amanda Plant and Cameronne Taillon have been named Legal Elite for their outstanding contributions to the Taxes, Estates, and Trusts practices.
The Legal Elite is a rigorous and thoughtful process launched in 2000 in cooperation with the Virginia Bar Association. Each year, the program invites lawyers licensed to practice in Virginia to vote for their peers who they believe are the top attorneys in 21 categories of legal specialties.
More than 14,000 attorneys were contacted by Virginia Business, and over 50 law firms were directed to a balloting website that operated only during the annual voting period. To maintain transparency and fairness, Virginia Business partnered with Colorado-based DataJoe, a leading media research and analytics firm, to conduct the voting.
This year, attorneys cast 1,359 ballots, making 23,885 votes across all 21 legal specialty categories. Amongst the 5,174 attorneys nominated this year, just 1,530—representing 29.6% of the pool—were selected as Legal Elite.
The year 2023 was an exceptional one for The Geller Law Group, boasting a higher firmwide recognition rate and individual awards than ever before. We cherish these accolades as they echo our core values of excellence in the practice of law, professional growth, client devotion, and community service.
