Melissa Sigritz is a paralegal in the Family Law Group. Helping clients through the often-emotional process of ending a marriage has become a gratifying part of her legal career.

Prior to joining The Geller Law Group, Melissa was a family law paralegal for 24 years in Dayton, Ohio. In her role as a paralegal, she drafted all pleadings related to divorce proceedings, including complaints, discovery requests, pretrial statements and divorce decrees. She also often uncovered hidden assets to the benefit of her firm’s clients.

Melissa received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Political Science from Miami University. Additionally, she has an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Sinclair Community College’s ABA-approved legal assisting program.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, including the four-legged members. She also enjoys travel, having visited all 50 states and has run 16 marathons, several of them as charity fundraisers.
