Alexis Abraham is an associate in the firm’s Estate Planning Practice, where she focuses on Probate, Guardianships and Conservatorships, and other estate planning matters.

Prior to joining GLG, Alexis worked for the Fairfax County Office of Human Rights & Equity Programs as a Human Rights Specialist. In this role, she investigated complaints of violations of the Fairfax County Human Rights Ordinance, Fairfax County Personnel Regulations, ADA compliance, and federal anti-discrimination laws.

Before her position with Fairfax County, Alexis was an associate attorney for a local boutique law firm. She assisted clients with drafting estate planning documents, estate and trust administration, tax planning, special needs planning, guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, and social security applications and appeals.

Alexis is passionate about volunteering and is actively involved with the Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center and related Wills on Wheels and Housing Advocacy projects. In 2021, the Fairfax Bar Association recognized Alexis as Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. She’s also a We Got Us Now (5013c) Actionist Leadership Program member.

Alexis received a J.D. from the Antonin Scalia School of Law, George Mason University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Outside of work, Alexis enjoys hiking, camping, rock climbing, watching and playing sports, playing with her dogs, and spending time with friends and family.
