An Award-Winning, Women-Owned & Operated Law Firm

Important Message from The Geller Law Group

Dear friends, We are writing today to make a statement on an important issue facing our nation. We want to be crystal clear. The Geller Law Group strongly believes that BLACK LIVES MATTER. Not only do black lives matter, but we want black lives to be full of freedom, opportunity, and equality.  We are heartbroken by the murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, Rayshard Brooks, George Floyd, and so many others before them. We stand with the African-American community and we have joined the global protests against racism, injustice, and inequality.  America’s black communities have been suffering from the effects of systemic racism for centuries. We are more driven than ever to turn our anger into action.  As lawyers, activists, and philanthropists, we continually fight for equality and work to provide for the less fortunate. We run The Geller Law Group with the same values that we hold in our hearts and instill in our families—ALL men and women deserve equal opportunity and justice without oppression or brutality. Period.

Rebecca Geller and her family attend a Black Lives Matter protest in Fairfax County.

Our firm is taking affirmative steps to expand our prior work to help combat racism and inequality. This month, our firm’s Donation Matching Program is solely focused on donating thousands of dollars to organizations that support black lives, such as the Loveland Foundation – Therapy for Black Women and Girls, Campaign Zero, Southern Poverty Law Center, HB4 Diversity, Movement for Black Lives, NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, The Opportunity Agenda and the National Black Justice Coalition.

We’re also using our social media platform to highlight and increase business for local black-owned companies through a giveaway campaign. To date, we’ve run contests giving away gift certificates to Della J’s Delectables and Out of the Bubble Bakery. This week, we’re launching a similar giveaway contest for Frufetti Ice Cream Truck. All three businesses are longstanding clients of the firm. Be sure to follow our Facebook page to participate in our contests and support these businesses!

If you know of local black-owned businesses that could use our support, please send an email to: office@thegellerlawgroup.com with their name/s.

Our firm is wholeheartedly committed to fighting inequality and injustice. We vow to always use our voice to stand up for people of color. We hope you will join us in our efforts to combat racism.

Please note: The Geller Law Group will be closed Friday, June 19th in honor of Juneteenth commemorating the ending of slavery in the U.S.

Sincerely,

Rebecca Geller
