An Award-Winning, Women-Owned & Operated Law Firm
In recognition of National Estate Planning Awareness Week and Long-Term Care Planning Month, The Geller Law Group is extending a special discount through October 31, 2025 for furloughed federal and government workers across Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.
The offer applies to new clients seeking assistance with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, medical directives, and estate plans.
“Estate planning is about protecting your family’s future,” said Rebecca Geller, President & CEO of The Geller Law Group. “We know that times of financial uncertainty can make long-term planning feel out of reach. Our goal is to remove some of that burden and help people gain peace of mind, even in difficult circumstances.”
This initiative builds on The Geller Law Group’s long-standing commitment to supporting families affected by federal furloughs. During the 2019 government shutdown, the firm gained national recognition for providing temporary part-time employment to 25 furloughed federal workers, helping families in the community stay financially afloat while performing helpful administrative work for the firm.
“These are hardworking government employees who want to be doing their jobs, and by no fault of their own, they’re sitting at home not getting paychecks,” Geller told WUSA9 in 2019. “We’re just giving them an opportunity to earn some additional money and do good work for us.”
