Geller Law Group Named a 2026 Certified Inclusive Workplace for Second Consecutive Year

The Geller Law Group is proud to announce that we have been recognized as a 2026 Certified Inclusive Workplace by Best Companies Group, in collaboration with COLOR Magazine, marking the firm’s second consecutive year receiving this distinction.

This recognition reflects feedback gathered directly from employees through a comprehensive, confidential survey process designed to measure inclusion, belonging, and workplace experience. Organizations that meet or exceed a rigorous, data-driven benchmark are recognized for their ability to create environments where employees feel respected, supported, and part of something larger than themselves.

The official announcement was made during a virtual celebration hosted by Best Companies Group on March 31, 2026, where Executive Vice President Jaime Raul Zepeda emphasized the significance of employee-driven recognition.

Recognition Driven by Employee Voice

Unlike traditional awards, the Inclusive Workplace designation is not based on nominations, rankings, or external judging panels. Instead, it is determined entirely by unfiltered employee feedback.

All employees are surveyed and asked to share their honest perspectives on inclusion and belonging within their organization. The results are evaluated at the company level, and only those that meet established benchmarks are recognized.

This approach reinforces what matters most: how employees actually experience the workplace day to day.

Building Inclusion Into the Structure of the Firm

As a women-owned law firm operating in a traditionally male-dominated profession, The Geller Law Group has taken a deliberate approach to embedding inclusion into its foundation – not treating it as a standalone initiative, but as a core part of how the firm operates, hires, and leads.

This includes:

  • Intentional recruitment strategies that expand access to diverse candidate pools across professional, academic, and community networks
  • Inclusive hiring practices, including diverse interview panels and accessible, inclusive application materials
  • Ongoing education and training focused on communication, allyship, and equitable engagement
  • Leadership accountability, with DEI integrated into firm operations, policies, and professional development

The firm’s efforts are further supported by recognized DEI leader, Rahni Jenkins, GLG’s Chief Human Resource & Operations Officer, who works closely with leadership to strengthen employee engagement, support professional growth, and remove barriers to advancement.

A Continuous Commitment to Progress

The Geller Law Group recognizes that building an inclusive workplace requires ongoing evaluation, feedback, and refinement.

Over the past several years, the firm has expanded internal diversity through intentional hiring practices, increased accessibility in client-facing resources, and strengthened its impact through pro bono service and community partnerships.

This continued focus has led to multiple recognitions for workplace culture and inclusion, including Best Companies & COLOR Magazine Inclusive Workplace (2025, 2026), Washington Business Journal Corporate Diversity Index (2025), DEI Spotlight by Virginia Lawyers Weekly (2024), Best Places to Work in Virginia (2025 & 2026), and Best Places to Work: Law Firms (2025).

Looking Ahead

As The Geller Law Group celebrates its 15-year anniversary in 2026, this recognition reinforces the foundation on which the firm was built.

From the beginning, GLG was designed to challenge traditional law firm structures and create a more flexible, inclusive model that supports both professional excellence and personal sustainability. That approach continues to shape how the firm grows, hires, and serves its clients today.

Being named a Certified Inclusive Workplace for a second consecutive year is a direct reflection of that long-term commitment and the people who make it possible.

The Geller Law Group remains focused on expanding its DEI efforts, strengthening community engagement, and continuing to evolve its workplace culture in ways that reflect the needs of its team and the clients it serves.
