Amanda Plant is a partner at the Geller Law Group whose practice is focused on estate planning. She assists with all aspects of estate planning and works closely with each client to ensure that the estate plan is tailored to the client’s specific needs.
Prior to joining the firm, Amanda ran her own solo practice in D.C. assisting clients with estate planning and small business matters. After law school, Amanda served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Hiram Puig-Lugo in the Superior Court of D.C. Amanda also tutors students preparing for the bar exam.
Amanda received her Juris Doctor from the American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Amanda was an evening student at WCL, and worked full-time as the Acquisitions Coordinator at the American University Library. While in law school, Amanda participated in a Moot Court competition, served as an Associate Justice in the Student Bar Association and was a Student Attorney in the Civil Practice Clinic. Amanda also worked part-time as a law clerk at a small firm in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Amanda resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband, son, and rescue yellow lab, Hunter. In her free time, she enjoys biking, reading, fitness training, martial arts, and hanging out with her family.
